This memorandum describes information sharing between the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service/Biotechnology Regulatory Services (USDA/APHIS/BRS or USDA), in the regulatory oversight over genetically engineered plants and the foods derived from such plants.
