The introduction of error during ground-water sampling is an issue identified by the Forum as a concern of Superfund decision makers. To address this issue, this paper was prepared under the direction of K. F. Pohlmann of the Desert Research Institute/Water Resources Center, with the support of the Environmental Monitoring Systems Laboratory Las Vegas (EMSL-LV) and the Superfund Technical Support Project.
