The Ellis Property Superfund Site is located in a rural area of Burlington County, New Jersey. Most of the land at the site has not been developed. However, there is a building in a fenced area that is used to house the remedial system, and land use is limited to the remedial activities. Land use in areas adjacent to the site is predominantly agricultural, though some residential development has occurred and is continuing to expand within a one-mile radius of the site.
