The Risdon Manufacturing Corporation facility, located in Danbury, Connecticut at the intersection of Old Newtown Road and Newtown Road, manufactures cosmetic containers. On-site practices historically included electroplating, chromating, acid/solvent stripping, degreasing, buffing, polishing, lacquering, hot stamping, silk screening, and assembly. The facility began operation in 1956, and some of these practices still continue after a number of facility modifications have been implemented.
