Alternatives for Disposition of Electronics Planning Tool Webinar Archive

On September 10, 2020, EPA ORD hosted this webinar on the Alternatives for Disposition of Electronics Planning Tool (ADEPT). ADEPT is an Excel-based tool that provides an improved understanding of the generation of used electronics from consumer market information to the waste stream composition. ADEPT can be used by solid waste professionals to make predictions of future waste generation demands and to evaluate variable managagement scenarios of used electronics at the state and national level. Presented by John Glaser, Research Scientist, and Endalkachew Sahle-Demessie, Senior Chemical Engineer, in EPA ORD's Center for Environmental Solutions and Emergency Response, this webinar presents an overview of ADEPT's purpose, functionality, data sources, and presents two state case studies (Washington State and Minnesota).
