This webinar focuses on research that is advancing the development and evaluation of air sensor technology and helping communities learn more about their air quality. An increasing number of low-cost air quality sensors are now available on the commercial market, but the amount of research-based evaluation of these sensors remains very limited. US EPA is engaged in the discovery, evaluation, and application of these emerging technologies and is sharing information gained with its partners and stakeholders. End users of such technologies need to understand the technology limitations, their value in various air monitoring situations, as well as the tools and resources that are available to provide assistance in their use.
