Chris Robbins

Chris Robbins

Chris Robbins is currently the Deputy Assistant Administrator for Management for the Office of Research and Development (ORD). Chris has been with the US EPA for over 30 years working in various organizations, primarily in Washington, DC and Research Triangle Park, NC.

Chris has served in multiple ORD leadership roles including Associate Assistant Administrator, Deputy Director for the National Health and Environmental Effects Research Laboratory, acting Deputy Director of the Office of Administrative and Research Support, and Deputy Director of the Office of Science Information Management. In addition, Chris has led many high-profile Agency efforts, including recently establishing ORD as the National Program Manager of Regional Laboratories, the Cybersecurity Sprint Team effort, and several large-scale enterprise technology projects.

Chris has extensive management and leadership experience focusing primarily on resource management and customer service.   Chris spent 10 years in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer where he managed the Agency’s budget formulation process and worked closely with the Agency’s resource management community.  Chris graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill and has a master’s degree in Public Administration from American University in Washington, DC.
