Perchlorate Peer Reviews

Return to the Perchlorate Home Page

Summary

As part of EPA’s commitment to ensuring the safety of America’s drinking water, the Agency conducted two independent, expert peer reviews to determine the appropriate scientific approach for understanding the adverse health impacts of perchlorate in drinking water. EPA relied on independent scientific experts to provide advice on the quality and relevance of the technical information being used for decision making on perchlorate.

The Peer Review Summary Reports for both of these reviews are available in Docket ID No. EPA-HQ-OW-2016-0439.
