Andrew Wheeler served as Deputy Administrator from April 20, 2018. On July 5, 2018, President Trump appointed him to be Acting Administrator and he assumed the position on July 7, 2018. The Senate confirmed him as EPA's fifteenth Administrator on February 28, 2019.
