Chapter 7. Ambient Air Quality

Section 707. Degradation of Ambient Air Having Higher Quality than Set Forth in these Sections Restricted
Approved by EPA 03/08/89 (54 FR 09795) at 52.970(c)(49) effective 05/08/89.

   As of the effective date of these regulations all processes which currently result in higher ambient air quality than shown in Tables 1 and 1a shall be maintained at the higher process quality level or better unless it can be affirmatively demonstrated to the administrative authority that a change in quality is justifiable.
