Albuquerque SIP Regulations Background Information

Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Air Quality Control Board

Albuquerque Regulations Read Me

In 1995 the Board recodified the Board Regulations so they could be incorporated into the New Mexico Administrative Code (NMAC) structure.  The Albuquerque/ Bernalillo County Air Quality Control Board Regulations (now referred to as Parts) are located in Title 20 Chapter 11 of the NMAC (indicated as 20 NMAC 11.a where aa is the part number).

For the convenience of the public, the regulations are listed according to the new part designations.  The old regulation numbers and titles are given in parentheses after the part designation.  For example, the old Regulation 21, Permit Fees, is listed as Part 2 (Reg 21, Permit Fees).

Albuquerque regulations submitted to EPA by the Governor before 1981 were called Sections of the Albuquerque-Bernalillo County Air Quality Board Air Pollution Control Regulations.  Regulations submitted between 1981 and about 1997 are called Regulations.  Regulations submitted since 1998 are called Parts (of Title 20, Chapter 11, of the New Mexico Administrative Code).
