Oklahoma SIP: OAC 252:100 Appendix C: Allowable Particulate Matter Emission Rates for Indirectly Fired Fuel-Burning Units

Regulatory Text:
Oklahoma Administrative Code.  Title 252.  Department of Environmental Quality

Chapter 100.  Air Pollution Control (OAC 252:100)

APPENDIX C.  ALLOWABLE PARTICULATE MATTER EMISSION RATES FOR INDIRECTLY
             FIRED FUEL-BURNING UNITS
As adopted in the Oklahoma Register May 15, 2009 (26 Ok Reg 1174) effective
July 1, 2009 and Submitted to EPA July 16, 2010 (OK-39),
Regulations.gov document EPA-R06-OAR-2011-0034-0004 [OK017.04].
Approved by EPA November 3, 2015 (80 FR 67647) effective January 4, 2016 (OKd15),
Regulations.gov docket EPA-R06-OAR-2011-0034 [OK017].

(Appendix C is cited in 252:100-19-4.)

Maximum Heat Input In

Million British Thermal

Units (MMBTU) Per Hour

Allowable Total Particulate

Matter Emissions In Pounds

Per MMBTU

Less than or equal to 10              0.60
10,000 or more            0.10

Allowable total particulate emissions for values of X greater than 10 MMBTU, but less
than 1,000 MMBTU may be calculated using the formula:

          E = 1.042808X-0.238561

Allowable total particulate emissions for values of X greater than or equal to 1,000
MMBTU, but less than 10,000 MMBTU may be calculated using the formula:

          E = 1.60X-0.30103

Where:

     E = allowable total particulate matter emission limit in pounds per MMBTU input and

     X = the maximum heat input in MMBTU per hour.
