SYSTEM  REQUIREMENTS: 

285 MB of disk space is required for installation.  The EFDC model is CPU 
intensive; a system with a fast CPU and a minimum of 1 GB RAM is recommended.

DISTRIBUTION:

EFDC software is available for download from the CEAM Web site at the
following Uniform Resource Locator (URL):

  http://www2.epa.gov/exposure-assessment-models/efdc 

CEAM downloads include the latest EFDC software release, documentation, 
updates and patches.

INSTALLATION:

To install EFDC:

1) Download the installer application "Install_EFDC.exe" from CEAM.
   Note that you should save this file to a local disk drive; not a 
   network or shared drive.  

2) Navigate to the folder where the "Install_EFDC.exe" file is stored.
   Double-click the file and follow the on-screen instruction to copy the
   model and documentation files onto your system.

3) For EFDC program operation, read the accompanying documentation
   "Running EFDC - ReadMe.htm" located in the "Model Application" sub-
   directory of the installed application.  Further documentation is also
   provided in the "EFDC Manuals" sub-directory.

KNOWN DEFICIENCIES:

See the release notes for updates.  If users discover installation or run
time problems and/or deficiencies, please contact CEAM.  (refer to CONTACTS section below).
