Readme.txt The files included in the release of WMOST v2 include the following: 1. WMOSTv2.zip contains: a. WMOST.xlsm – Empty copy of WMOST version 2 for new case study data entry b. Lpsolve55.dll – LPSolver for linear programming optimization which should be kept in the same folder as each WMOST file 2. SupportFiles.zip – SupportFiles subdirectory which should be placed in the same directory as each WMOST.xlsm file. This subdirectory contains: a. WatershedMap.pdf – This is a map showing the location of modelled watersheds included in the Baseline Hydrology module. b. _Characteristics.csv – For the named watershed, this file contains a groundwater recession coefficient, percent effective impervious area, infiltration rate, and name/description for each Hydrologic Response Unit modelled in that watershed. c. _Timeseries.csv – For the named watershed and HRU in the watershed, this file contains hourly time series for precipitation, temperature, potential evapotranspiration, unit runoff and unit recharge. 3. WMOST_CaseStudyData_100215.zip – This zip file contains a completed case study for Halifax, MA showing how to set up a validation run. The case study is reviewed in Appendix A of the User’s Manual. 4. WMOST_CaseStudyData_AdjB_wSW-wIBT_H535_100515.zip – This zip file contains a completed case study scenario for Halifax, MA showing how to set up one of the scenarios to evaluate management options for the least cost-solution. See Appendix A in User Guide for more detail. This scenario was based on the following assumptions and constraints: a. Existing (2009-2013) Halifax Water Demand b. Brockton Water Diversion based on 2009 – 2013 diversions adjusted downwards to account for Aquaria desalination plant as alternative water source c. Reservoir stage restricted to 52.0 ft minimum and 53.5 ft maximum d. Stump Brook (outflow) uniform targets: minimum set to 1.39 cfs as required by regulation and 130.0 cfs maximum e. Reservoir withdrawals based on adjusted historic pattern f. Allowable management options include stormwater BMPs and interbasin transfers To install WMOSTv2, the user will need to download and unzip WMOSTv2.zip, then download and unzip SupportFiles.zip and move to the WMOST folder. To run either of the case studies, the user will have to add a copy of Lpsolve55.dll and SupportFiles to the directory containing the case study file of interest.
