Version 3.1 384 MB RAM 592 MB Available Hard Drive Space Windows XP(SP3) Windows Power User group security privileges ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- DISTRIBUTION: WHATIF software is available for download from the CEAM Web site at the following Uniform Resource Locator (URL): http://www.epa.gov/ceampubl/fchain/whatif/index.htm CEAM downloads include the latest WHATIF software release, documentation, updates and patches. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION: The WHATIF installers for version 2.0 and 3.1 are self-extracting zip files containing SetUp programs that install the model to you system. The installation process is to download the installer, run the self-extracting zip file and then run the SetUp program. To install WHATIF: 1) Download the desired WHATIF installer from CEAM. Note that you should save this file to a local disk drive; not a network or shared drive. 2) Navigate to the folder where the installer file is stored. Double-click the file and choose a directory where the self-extracting Zip program can copy the installer application. By default, installer files are written to the current directory in a sub-directory named "whatif_installer". 3) Navigate to the directory where the files were written (e.g.; "whatif_installer") and double-click on Setup.exe. Follow the on-screen instructions. Note that your user account must have administrative privileges for the Setup program to operate correctly. 4) For WHATIF program operation, read the accompanying documentation "WHATIF Overview.pdf", and/or "WatershedHealthAssessment.pdf".
