INTRODUCTION

This document (README.TXT) contains important installation and configuration 
information and should be reviewed prior to installing the 3MRA software.

DOCUMENTATION

Documentation for the 3MRA system include this file (README.TXT), a summary
of the software and its scope (ABSTRACT.TXT), and a five volume set of
documents in Adobe Acrobat (.PDF) format.  The Adobe Acrobat files require
Adobe Acrobat Reader which is available free of charge from
http://www.adobe.com/. The 3MRA document set is available for download from
the CEAM Web site and includes the following volumes:

  1) Modeling System & Science (17 .PDF Files)
  2) Data Collection (18 .PDF Files)
  3) Verification & Validation (15 .PDF Files)
  4) Uncertainty & Sensitivity Analysis (16 .PDF Files)
  5) Technology Design & Users Guide (4 .PDF Files).

INSTALLATION

Properly installed and configured, this software system can be executed under
Windows 98/NT/2000/XP operating systems.  Prior to installation, the
installation file Install_3MRA.EXE should be downloaded from the CEAM Web
site using the following URL:
  
  http://www.epa.gov/ceampubl/mmedia/3mra/index.htm
  
From the desktop, double click the My Computer icon.  Browse for, then double
click the installation file Install_3MRA.EXE.  Follow the instructions
presented within the dialog boxes.
