Education Webinar: SmartWay New Partner Orientation: Tips for a Rewarding Partnership Experience

SmartWay’s New Partner Orientation was offered not only to our newer Partners, but also to our Applicants and anyone in need of a quick introduction to the program and how to maximize their company’s value from participation.

The webinar started with some basic information about SmartWay and resources for improving freight efficiency.  We showed next how to compare a company’s environmental performance with others like it, and then did a live “walk-through” on the SmartWay website, showing locations for some of our most-used information and tools.  Then, two Partners—Bruce Horne of SmartWay Shipper Gorton’s and Jolene Sternweis of SmartWay Truck Carrier Roehl Transport, Inc.--discussed how their SmartWay partnership leveraged their companies’ freight efficiency goals, environmental strategies, and other performance objectives.
