SmartWay Program Training Curriculum

EPA has developed training materials to help countries and organizations to design and implement programs based on SmartWay. These materials have been used in workshops in China and Vietnam and distributed throughout Latin America and Asia. They have been translated into multiple languages and designed for use in workshop settings or individual study.

Materials for How to Develop a Green Freight Program

• A Comprehensive Guide and Resource Manual—a 198 page comprehensive training guide in five modules with interactive exercises for group activities.
  • Spanish, French, Portuguese, and (Mandarin) Chinese—available upon request.
• Teacher Trainer Guide—a 116-page guide for trainers and facilitators to deliver the manual’s content in a workshop setting.
• Workshop Presentation Slides— Green Freight Program Trainer Slides (PPTX)(89 pp, 19 MB, March 2016) — a set of 89 slides and notes for use in a workshop.

Technology Verification Training Curriculum (available 2017)

A comprehensive training guide in five modules with interactive exercises for group activities for those interested in developing technology verification programs based on SmartWay’s program. It will be available in 2017.
