  • Best Management Practices Resource Guide (PDF)(40 pp, 802 K)
The Resource Guide provides an overview of the history of mobile home manufacturing; typical materials used in construction; information regarding hazardous materials that may have been used in the construction of the mobile homes; previous studies conducted regarding the feasibility of the deconstruction and recycling of abandoned mobile homes; and best management practices to assess, inventory, and plan the deconstruction of an abandoned mobile home.
  • Assessment Guide Checklists (PDF)(5 pp, 56 K)
The Assessment Guide Checklists are designed to assist individuals in evaluating whether a mobile home unit is a good candidate for deconstruction, and, if so, to aid the deconstruction team in preparing for the deconstruction project. The Assessment Guide Checklists are comprised of four separate worksheets including: Assessing Mobile Home Candidates for Deconstruction, Preparing for the Deconstruction Event, Health and Safety Considerations, and A Daily Log for Deconstruction Activities.
  • Resource Bibliography (PDF)(13 pp, 525 K)
The Resource Bibliography identifies key sources that discuss deconstruction and deconstruction-related topics. These sources not only provide best management practices, lessons learned, and guidance on deconstruction but also an overview of factors influencing the success or failure of deconstruction projects.
