Ethylene Oxide Emissions from the Smyrna, Georgia Sterigenics Facility
Since the release of the EPA’s most recent National Air Toxics Assessment (NATA) in August 2018, the EPA has been working with our state partners at the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) to gather additional information on ethylene oxide (EtO) emissions from the:
- Sterigenics facility in Smyrna, and
- Becton Dickinson facility in Covington.
