Collection and Use of Risk Screen Data - Fire Suppression Sector

Under the Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) program, EPA evaluates the human health and environmental risks of proposed replacements for halons and analyzes the acceptability of the replacements. This risk screening process is based on information provided by the submitter in the SNAP application. After receipt of the requested information, EPA follows certain steps for analyzing the information.
