  • Source Water Stewardship: A Guide to Protecting and Restoring Your Drinking Water - This manual was prepared by a non-profit organization, the Clean Water Fund, to assist people who are interested in source water protection. It walks through a process of understanding a source water assessment, reaching out to others who are or should be involved in protecting and restoring drinking water quality, and designing an action plan for drinking water protection and restoration.
     
  • Trust for Public Land (TPL): Source Protection Handbook - This resource can help a community make the case for land conservation to protect drinking water sources.
     
  • Center for Watershed ProtectionExit- This non-profit organization provides technical tools and publications to assist with protecting surface water sources of drinking water. Topics include watershed planning , watershed restoration, research, education and outreach, and watershed training.
