On July 16, 2019, EPA published a proposed rule in the Federal Register (84 FR 33886) to approve a state implementation plan (SIP) submitted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. EPA’s adequacy review of the motor vehicle emissions budgets and an opportunity for public comment on the SIP revision are being done concurrently. EPA is proposing approval of the SIP in accordance with the requirements of the Clean Air Act.

On October 2, 2015 EPA published a proposed rule in the Federal Register (80 FR 59703) to approve a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision submitted by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. EPA’s adequacy review of the motor vehicle emissions budgets and an opportunity for public comment on the SIP revision are concurrent. EPA is proposing approval of the revision to the SIP in accordance with the requirements of the Clean Air Act.

On October 29, 2020, EPA published a proposed rule in the Federal Register (85 FR 68509) to approve a state implementation plan (SIP) submitted by the State of California. EPA’s adequacy review of the motor vehicle emissions budgets and an opportunity for public comment on the SIP revision are being done concurrently. EPA is proposing approval of the SIP in accordance with the requirements of the Clean Air Act.
