EPA's AVoided Emissions and geneRation Tool (AVERT) is a free tool that allows users to easily evaluate county-level emissions impacts resulting from energy efficiency and renewable energy programs. Since its initial release in 2014, AVERT has been used to support numerous studies and analyses that have been published by other government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and academic researchers. This list provides citations and links for published reports and articles that have either used AVERT as a modeling tool or provided a substantive analysis of AVERT.
