PEV Policy Evaluation Rubric National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO) The Plug-in Electric Vehicle (PEV) Policy Evaluation Rubric allows users to evaluate the strength and weaknesses of all PEV-related policies in a metro area. The rubric uses a scoring system from 0 to 100, with higher scores indicating policies that are stronger in advancing PEV deployment. The Rubric considers a number of variables including vehicle purchase incentives and available rebates. https://naseo.org/Data/Sites/1/pevpolicyrubricmethodology_naseo.pdf

Tahoe-Truckee EV Toolkit Tahoe Regional Planning Agency This website provides a variety of tools and resources for EV planning, including resources specific to local governments. Including, a variety of factsheets and reports on the resources page (http://tahoealternativefuels.com/resources/). http://tahoealternativefuels.com/tools-for-users/public-ev-toolkit/#/find/nearest
GoEVCity Policy Toolkit Multiple The GoEVCity Policy Toolkit is a catalog of local policies, strategies, and programs designed to advance the transition to EVs in Colorado communities. The toolkit takes a holistic approach to the transportation electrification, with specific policy recommendations for public transit, municipal fleets, taxis, ride-hail services, and personal car ownership. Most of these tools have been implemented in cities, counties, states, and utilities in Colorado and across the country. While specific to Colorado, the information and resources can be helpful to other local governments.  http://swenergy.org/Data/Sites/1/media/documents/buildings/goev-city-policy-toolkit_08.27.18.pdf
Alternative Fuel Toolkit Oregon DOT; U.S. Department of Transportation - Federal Highway Administration This website contains a number of tools related to alternative fuel planning and action. The tools vary from factsheets and resource libraries to more involved interactive maps and calculators. The website also contains materials from workshops and webinars on various alternative fuel subjects. http://altfueltoolkit.org/home/about/
Workplace Charging Employer Workshop Toolkit Clean Cities Coalition Network This toolkit is a collection of materials and best practices for holding a workshop on the implementation of workplace charging. Availability of workplace charging can help encourage employees to adopt electric vehicles. The materials in this toolkit can assist with organizing and holding a workshop on workplace charging. https://cleancities.energy.gov/technical-assistance/workplace-charging/
EV Corridor Analysis Tool for Northeast and Mid-Atlantic States Georgetown Climate Center, M.J. Bradley & Associates This tool allows users to investigate existing plug-in vehicle charging locations along major highway corridors in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. The corridor analysis includes an Excel-based tool that identifies which highway exits may be good candidates for adding EV charging infrastructure. In addition, the tool contains an interactive map where users can visualize highway corridors and EV charging infrastructure. https://www.georgetownclimate.org/articles/ev-corridor-analysis-tool-for-northeast-and-mid-atlantic-states.html
GIS Electric Vehicle Planning Toolbox UC Davis Plug-in Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Research Center This tool can assist with planning the location of EV charging infrastructure, specifically in California. The tool has a market-based feature which provides expected demand and location of EV charging stations based on target market size. The tool can be used to determine the number and location of EV charging stations that may be required. https://phev.ucdavis.edu/project/uc-davis-gis-ev-planning-toolbox-for-mpos/
Trip Calculator U.S. Department of Energy The Trip Calculator allows users to plan a trip and calculate fuel costs for up to two vehicles. It provides a route map and turn by turn instructions. It allows different routes and associated fuel cost comparisons. https://www.fueleconomy.gov/trip/
Siting and Design Guidelines for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment New York State Energy Research and Development Authority This report provides information on electric vehicle charging infrastructure and guidelines for site design and installation of charging equipment. The report gives an in-depth process for evaluating and selecting sites for electric vehicle infrastructure.
