The purpose of this November 2011 document is to present the results of a review of available information on developments in practices, processes, and control technologies that apply to pulping and papermaking processes.
This analysis is part of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) effort to review the national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants (NESHAP) for the Pulp and Paper Industry (40 CFR part 63, subpart S) in accordance with section 112(d)(6) of the Clean Air Act (CAA).
