Ethylene Production Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) Compliance Manual

This July 2006 document is intended to help owners and operators of ethylene processes understand and comply with EPA’s air pollution regulations promulgated on July 12, 2002, as amended on April 13, 2005 and April 20, 2006. These regulations contain new emissions standards for ethylene processes based on the “maximum achievable control technology” or MACT. This document reviews the provisions of the Ethylene MACT regulation, including most referenced requirements.
