Rule Summary

New source performance standards (NSPS) for lime manufacturing plants were proposed on May 3, 1977 and promulgated on March 7, 1978. As promulgated, the NSPS for lime manufacturing plants limited particulate matter (PM) emissions from rotary lime kilns and lime hydrator.
