Manufacturing of Nutritional Yeast: NESHAP Risk and Technology Review Proposal

December 13, 2016 - EPA proposed amendments to the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Manufacturing of Nutritional Yeast facilities to address the results of the residual risk and technology review conducted under section 112 of the Clean Air Act. This rule would further reduce emissions of hazardous air pollutants, also known as air toxics, which are known or suspected to cause cancer and other serious health and environmental effects.
