New Source Performance Standards Electronic Reporting

Rule Summary

EPA has withdrawn the Electronic Reporting for New Source Performance Standards Final Rule from the Office of the Federal Register.

This rule would expand the use of electronic reporting and recordkeeping by requiring additional categories of industries to submit to EPA specific air emissions data reports.  Electronically submitted data would be readily accessible on an EPA maintained website improving access for state, local and tribal pollution agencies, EPA regional offices and the public.  This action would reduce costs to industry by standardizing forms, reducing reporting transcription errors, retaining facility information for reuse in future reports and allowing for simultaneous reporting to multiple agencies.
