October 16, 2017 - After assessing the hazardous air pollutant emissions from POTW, EPA determined that the current standards are protective of human health and the environment and provide an acceptable level of risk with an ample margin of safety to protect public health. This action finalizes several revisions to the standards to provide clarity regarding the original intent of the standards including clarification of the applicability criteria, changes to the names and definitions of the subcategories, initial notification requirements for existing POTW, and requirements for electronic reporting.
