Summary of Requirements for Secondary Aluminum Production Facilities

This March 2003 document summarizes the various requirements of the secondary aluminum production national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants (NESHAP), broken down into categories. This document ccovers the requirements for: aluminum scrap shredders, thermal chip dryers, scrap dryers/delaquering kilns/decoating kilns, sweat furnaces, dross-only furnaces, rotary dross furnaces, group 1 furnaces with and without add-on control devices, in-line fluxers, group 2 furnaces and secondary aluminum processing units (SAPUs).
