The Color Pigments Manufacturers Association (CPMA) submitted a petition under section 313(e) of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) to remove chromium antimony titanate (CAT) (also referred to as C.I. Pigment Brown 24) from the EPCRA section 313 list of toxic chemicals subject to reporting under the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI).
EPA is currently evaluating CAT to determine whether there are possible human health or environmental hazard concerns for this chemical that meet the toxicity criterion of EPCRA section 313(d)(2)(A), (B), or (C).
