Technical Memorandum: Investigation of Abandoned Wells on Navajo Nation

In the summer of 2018, US EPA Region 9 worked with the Navajo Nation EPA (NNEPA) and contractors Eastern Research Group, Inc. (ERG) to sample surface water originating from several abandoned oil and gas production wells in New Mexico and Utah. This technical report summarizes the sampling results against certain water quality benchmarks.
