2013 Guidance on the Award and Management of General Assistance Agreements for Tribes and Intertribal Consortia

This 2013 Guidance on the Award and Management of General Assistance Agreements for Tribes and Intertribal Consortia (Guidance) describes how EPA administers the Indian Environmental General Assistance Program (GAP) Act of 1992 (42 U.S.C. §4368b). In conjunction with the information provided in Appendix I, “Guidebook for Building Tribal Environmental Program Capacity,” this Guidance provides a consistent national framework for building tribal environmental program capacity under GAP and is designed to improve the management of GAP resources.
