Electronic Signature Agreement (ESA) for Engines and Vehicles Compliance Information System (EV-CIS) Company Authorizing Official (CAO)
EPA must collect this information to ensure compliance with the Cross-Media Electronic Reporting Rule (CROMERR).
The ESA identifies the CAO and requires that the CAO sign and attest to the Rules of Behavior for using EPA’s EV-CIS.
This document must be wet ink signed by the CAO as well as by a company’s senior manager as an official witness (such as a vice president or Director of Human Resources).
