Sponsor Letter for the Engines and Vehicles Compliance Information System (EV-CIS) Company Authorizing Official (CAO)
EPA must collect this information to ensure compliance with the Cross-Media Electronic Reporting Rule (CROMERR).
This letter identifies the CAO(s) for the EV-CIS and is signed by another senior manager on company letterhead. This letter may not be signed by the person to be designated as the CAO since a CAO cannot sponsor him/herself. This letter is only used to identify CAOs.
