This manual is organized to meet the informational needs of two distinctly different groups of readers: 1) personnel in environmental management positions desiring an overview of the CORMIX systems capabilities, and 2) technical staff needing assistance in actual applications. Chapter II provides a summary of the physical processes of effluent mixing, as well as an overview of the regulatory background and practice on mixing zone applications.
