Develop and Conduct a Water Resilience Tabletop Exercise with Water Utilities

 

Overview

The Tabletop Exercise Tool for Drinking Water and Wastewater Utilities (TTX Tool) provides users with the resources to plan, conduct and evaluate tabletop exercises that focus on Water Sector-related incidents and challenges. 

This 2018 version of the TTX Tool contains 12 all-hazards scenarios (e.g., natural disasters, man-made incidents) related to emergency preparedness and response.  Each scenario has: 

  • Fully-customizable situation manuals and after action reports
  • Discussion questions 
  • PowerPoint presentations

All of these tabletop exercise materials can be modified to meet your specific needs. 

System requirements

To run the TTX Tool, the following minimum system hardware and software requirements must be met:

  • Microsoft® Windows 7 or higher
  • Microsoft® Word 2007 and PowerPoint 2007 or higher
  • Other software: Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • Disk space: 83MB

It is highly recommended that users go to the Microsoft website and download the most current updates for their operating system.
