The WaterSense program released its High-Efficiency Lavatory Faucet Specification (specification) on October 1, 2007, to promote and enhance the market for water-efficient lavatory faucets. The goal of this specification is to allow consumers to identify and differentiate products in the marketplace that meet this specification criteria for water efficiency and performance.
