WaterSense, its partners, and other stakeholders worked diligently during the specification development process to develop an industry-accepted water efficiency and performance testing protocol, which was adopted in ASTM F2324 and now serves the basis for the DOE requirements for commercial pre-rinse spray valves.
The DOE’s new rule helps increase nationwide water savings within commercial kitchens in the future, helping the WaterSense program fulfil its mission to transform the marketplace and promote a nationwide ethic of water efficiency.
