WaterSense is considering changes to develop version 2.0 of the specification and certification requirements for WaterSense labeled homes. EPA is looking to: reexamine the specification and certification process to allow for more flexibility in the technical requirements; streamline the program requirements and certification process; adapt to the evolving market for home building; encourage the adoption of emerging technologies and practices; and facilitate increased use of the specification.
