Local styles are created outside of the standard EPA style sheet. These are not allowed. One EPA Web uses only EPA standard styles found in the style guide.  EPA's official branding is managed by the Office of Public Affairs. The 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act requires a standard look and feel.

All EPA public web content must adhere to the EPA Web Standards, the U.S. Web Design System guidelines, and the 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act.
