The page that serves as the introduction to a web area, such as resource directory and microsite homepages.

All web area home pages must:

  • Be written for the general public (for an 8th grade reading level).
  • Have introductory text fewer than 50 words.
  • primarily include links to related top task content.

About this Standard

All EPA public web content must adhere to the EPA Web Standards, the U.S. Web Design System guidelines, and the 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act.
