Sokaogon Chippewa Community Wastewater Treatment System

Summary

In compliance with the provisions of the Clean Water Act, as amended, the Sokaogon Chippewa Community is authorized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region 5, to discharge from a treatment facility operated by Sokaogon Utility Department, designated as the Sokaogon Chippewa Community Wastewater Treatment System, located within the Mole Lake Indian Reservation at 3000 Ackley Circle, Crandon, Wisconsin, to  the subsurface with a hydrologic connection to Wetland 22 on the Reservation, in accordance with effluent limitations, monitoring requirements, and other conditions.
