Project Description

The City of Baltimore’s Wastewater Rehabilitation Program 2020 will include five subprojects. Two projects at the Patapsco Wastewater Treatment plant will rehabilitate the clarifiers and gravity sludge thickeners and the liquid oxygen facilities. Two projects at the Back River Wastewater Treatment plant will rehabilitate the activated sludge plant 3 clarifiers and the egg-shaped digesters respectively. The final project will rehabilitate the high level interceptor. The purpose is to ensure wastewater system reliability, safeguard public health and environmental quality, and continue compliance with permits and other relevant regulations.
