Project Description

The Doheny Ocean Desalination Project will produce up to 5 million gallons per day (MGD) of reliable, sustainable, and locally controlled water supply. The purpose of the project is to provide a reliable, drought-proof water supply, create a seawater intrusion barrier, and provide system redundancy in the event of a major seismic event.
