Project Description

The Strategic Plan Improvements Project will consist of three projects: 1) improvements to the 90 million gallons per day (MGD) Sturgeon Point Water Treatment Plant; 2) rehabilitation of the Powered Activated Carbon Systems at the Sturgeon Point Water Treatment Plant and VanDeWater Treatment Plant; and 3) pump system and yard piping improvements at the Richard F. Ball Pumping Station. The purpose of these projects is to improve the resiliency of system, maintain drinking water quality, and expand the regional presence by serving neighboring communities.
