Project Description

The Wastewater Treatment Improvements Program will include seven projects that support capacity expansion via a new 4 million gallons per day (MGD) wastewater treatment facility, biosolids management improvements to the existing regional wastewater treatment facility, and conveyance projects to distribute influent flow between the regional and new wastewater treatment facilities. The purpose of these projects is to meet the increased sewer demand in the service area, address infrastructure resiliency, and enhance nutrient removal to meet a stringent regulatory requirement.
