Project Description

The Sewer System Evaluation and Rehabilitation Program will rehabilitate and repair the sewer system to minimize sanitary system overflows and comply with the Consent Decree. This rehabilitation will reduce the frequency and volume of polluted discharges into Lake Pontchartrain and alleviate negative human health impacts related to discharged pollutants.
